"Kashmakash" is a Hindi/Urdu word that translates to "dilemma," "struggle," or "conflict." It signifies a state of being pulled in conflicting directions, experiencing tension, or grappling with opposing forces. Kumudini Hajra reflects upon the serenity she finds from frequent visits to Southern Portugal, documenting water formations through her Macro camera lens, into works that respond to an inner process of becoming.
