Wednesday 16th Oct, 10.30am - 12.30pm
Atelier Concorde
Rua Leite de Vasconcelos 43a, Lisboa 1170-198
A palimpsest is described as something reused or altered but still bearing visible traces of its earlier form. It can evoke nostalgia and a sense of time or location. Textures can be created through adding and removing layers, allowing a freedom in the creative process.

Artist Nina Fraser will show you methods to make your own personal palimpsest, which could be inspired by a place, a person or an event. It can be universally recognisable or deeply secretive, there are no rules, just bring an open mind and something paper that inspires you (and you don't mind ripping apart!)

This collage workshop is designed for all levels of experience, from the beginner to the collage enthusiast. The workshop is limited to 8 people, and reservations can be made by making payment through the booking link. The workshop is not suited to children under 10 years. For children 10- 14 years please be accompanied by an adult.
