» Abstract Markings I - VI  (2014)
indian ink, 30 x 40cm

Abstract Markings initiated a period of discovery through mark making, both of a solid and translucent nature. Created in two layers, balancing tone and space with organic shapes and natural forms, the work explores the nature of intuition in the art making process, or ultimately, when to begin and end a work.
