Created from discarded billboard posters found in the city center, an object is crudely formed into a sculpture and displayed on a perspex stand. Once staged, with a light placed behind it, the lens of the camera reveals an image that could resemble a mountain.
Through a theatrical approach to the use of paper as both a substrate and a construction material, advertisements and billboards undergo a metamorphosis of value, transforming messages into a malleable paste that can be physically remoulded and recreated into something other.
