Collage in Space - Three Dimensional paper forms FULL DAY WORKSHOP

Collage in Space relates the two-dimensional page to the three-dimensional field, allowing compositions to stand freely and take on a new life as a sculptural object. This series of workshops explores both construction methods and ways of thinking in space, using photographic imagery as building material.
Utilising imagery taken from magazine advertising as a creative starting point, you will explore methods of abstraction through subtraction and addition. Reflecting on our relationship with the image through advertising, we will draw influences from various artists who have taken the printed image into other realms.

All materials provided. No other preparation is required. Limited to 5 participants.
€90 per person

Tues 19th April 2022
Timetable:
Morning session 10-1pm: Collage & composition, glueing methods, basic construction techniques
